The Silence Proshell Pants are a pair of 3-layered shell pants with fully taped seams and a waterproof Hypershell® Pro membrane, ensuring complete protection from rain and moisture. With their 4-way stretch, the pants are designed to provide maximum comfort and silence. The ventilation zippers at the thighs ventilate and give incredible comfort. They’ve got pre-shaped knees and an adjustable waist with Velcro for maximum comfort and are DWR-treated for enhanced water repellency. The lower legs are expandable with zippers for an optimal fit over ski- or hiking boots.

Waterproof pants, but weird fit
The pants fit perfect around the waist, but they were really tight around the butt. The fabric was supposed to be stretchy, but I didn't notice much of that at all. It was very restrictive when bending down or stepping up. The fabric is waterproof and windproof though - that's a fact. I really wanted them to work, but I had to return them.

Quality Pants for sure!
I ordered the size S, as I am 5'11" and 140lbs. I normally order size 30 x 34 as I am thin and tall. These fit a bit short for me personally, as they fit more like a 30x32, so it that is your regular size, then size small will fit. They feel good to wear over some thin pants or just by themselves. The ankle zipper is a great feature to be able to adjust to your boot or shoe size. I'm planning on ordering a pair of Hiball pants as they are fleece lined and will be good for the winter.

Not waterproof at all
I brought these trousers in the expectation they would be at least slightly waterproof. I can categorically state that an average pair of denim jeans would keep more water out. Very dissapointing.
