Typhoon Pants Men Mandarin Red

My first time using my first pair of these rain pants was on a 17 day hike across northern England. I zipped and unzipped the legs on these a lot. After the 2nd day the side zipper on the right leg kept getting stuck and eventually came off the track. I was finally able to get it rezipped but it would no longer unzip. Revolution Race did replace the pants and I'll be using them again soon. They were waterproof and I really like the fit and feel but I'm concerned about the quality of the zipper.

The waterproof value of these trousers was spot on but I returned them due to the fact they were faulty. I ended up replacing with cyclone trousers which are more suitable for my needs. These trousers are very lightweight and as a result do not fair well touching even mildly abrasive surfaces. I’d say they are for dog walkers rather than avid hikers who are moving over varied terrain. I have to point out that the customer service I received, and continue to receive from RR, is exceptional.

Excellent item, light and comfortable!

Very lightweight and nice looking overtrousers, withstood an hour of cycling in quite heavy rain, so I'd love to keep them - if they were better designed. I put them on over my other Revolution Race pants and even though I ordered the same size, I found the Typhoons about 10cm shorter, ending up with wet pants sticking out and wet socks. On top of this, a long zip slider snapped on first use. On closer inspection, they turned out to be outrageously poor quality. Unreliable equipment. Returned for a refund.

If you are looking for lightweight waterproof and windproof pants, these pullover Typhoon Trousers are the perfect choice. I use them for any wet/windy outdoor activities and also for everyday use - normally dressed over some light sweatpants. I ordered two colours already and I am very satisfied with the quality and also with the delivery. 👍✌️

Sizes are completely different to the company's whole trousers range as the leg length is far to short. I have RVRC trousers, tops and jackets that all fit perfectly and I think it is some of the best gear around so it's very frustrating that I can't have the over trousers I need to complete the set when everything else fits great.

Just what I wanted light pair of overtrousers, good fit over my trouser , waterproof and wind resistant.

Worn these on a motorcycle tour where there was plenty of rain. Just went one size up from my usual and they fitted great over armoured jeans with quite thin armour. Best part is the big leg openings which means you can throw them on rapidly at the side of the road without removing boots. Very waterproof and the two way zip is great for venting when when it gets warm. Better fit than my original motorcycle specific ones (that were super baggy).
