Pretty perfect size
I can't say at the moment whether the material will last longer. The jacket is small and is used as a layer under a motorcycle jacket. At bearable temperatures, it significantly reduces the passage of air through the mesh fabric. The large ventilation on the back and the really small pack size including the very light weight are nice.
